…this has all been forming for several years, since discovering green woodwork many years ago, thanks first to Bob Shaw (tutor at CAT on my ‘Intro to Green Woodwork’ course there in summer 2010!) & later to Mike Abbott (who I assisted on his chairmaking courses in 2011) & Sherwood Keogh (whose woodland I lived in & who I learned much from while helping to build his beautiful home) – all master woodsfolk & wonderful humans to whom I owe much!
In 2020, I became one of seven ‘co-owners’ of Clissett Wood – 10 acres of beautiful south-facing semi-ancient Herefordshire mostly broadleaf woodland – which was a big step towards realising my big ‘hobo-tree’ hopes and dreams!
